Donna R. Thompson Recognized by NJAWBO Metro East with Trailblazer Award

Donna R. Thompson, owner and publishing director at Woodpecker Press, LLC, Bayville, NJ, was one of several women business owners honored on Tuesday, October 21, 2014, by the Metro East Region of the New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners. She received the 2014 NJAWBO Trailblazer Award, which was presented to her by NJAWBO Metro East president, Laurel Bernstein.

She has been a member of NJAWBO since joining the Essex Chapter on November 18, 2005, and has served on the board from December 2005 through June 2011 in various positions, including VP of Marketing (2005–2008), VP of Member Services (2008–2010), and Award Chair (2010–2011).
